NAPCA is growing steadily to become a multifaceted educational support system that prepares hard working students for admission to four year colleges and universities nationwide. We have planned an engaging pre-collegiate Summer Residential Program that provides high school students with an opportunity to stay on the USC campus overnight while being exposed to different facets of college life. Students will receive assistance defining their academic and career goals and developing educational plans to achieve them. Students will attend courses on various topics that will help enrich their academic skills for high school and college success. Additionally, the program will provide information and resources to help students become better prepared and competitive applicants for admission to the college of their choice.
For Summer 2013, we have expanded our summer residential programs to Cal Poly Pomona. We added seven new courses to enhance our comprehensive college and career readiness program curriculum. We revised the structure and daily format/operation of the one-week Cardinal program and two-week Cardinal & Gold program, and developed a four week Cardinal Elite program based on responses from our community input survey. Additionally, we are currently developing a summer residential program for prospective and current community college students to help them become better prepared and competitive to successfully transfer and transition to a four year college or university. This program is expected to launch summer 2014.
To differentiate between the Four Week Cardinal Elite program and the Two Week Cardinal and Gold program, please review our program curriculum snapshot for both programs.
Thank you for visiting us on the web.
